August 28, 2026.   DXB.

Dubai Airports, the entity that runs Dubai International (DXB), have come up with a logo, which you can see above.

DXB is the world’s biggest international transit hub, which explains the arrowed “X” in the center. The overall concept here is solid.

What we don’t like is how the two halves are offset vertically. What’s the point of this? It causes whole thing to drop and stumble. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a mistake. It also makes the “X” look more like a “K.”

Here, let me fix this…

Much better. The Dubai Airports people can thank me later.

Meanwhile, something I’ve always wondered: why is it “DXB” and not “DBX?”
