In reply to Chris H.. That’s true about Sandinista… to an extent. To me, though, a lot of the material people consider “filler” is quite enjoyable. For instance, two of my favorite Clash songs are “Living in Fame” and “Silicone on Sapphire,” both of which tend to be brushed aside.

Zen Arcade really earning the double album by filling it with good music reminds me of the opposite reaction people have to The Clash’s Sandinista, which has been described as a great record, that was unfortunately spread out over three records.
