Speaking of Q&A's, has there ever been an instance where using a cell phone during takeoff or landing affected the instrumentation? I once flew an instrument approach (in clear weather in case something did happen) with an instructor and literally waved a cell phone in front of the instruments while transmitting a call and the needles did not budge. It was a Cessna 172 with old-school instruments, not a glass cockpit or GPS.
