Lead Investigator (the late) William M. Bumpus was my F.A.A. Check Airman, who signed me off as a Captain, after flying a Boeing 747-400, from Seattle, Washington, to Anchorge, Alaska.

He was a great man and, not just because he signed me off.  Please read his obituary in &quot;The Blade&quot;, from Toledo.
